    I think that the point of the thread is that DMC has turned into SA210 and is trying to scold us for caring too much about Americans relative to others. It seems that in DMC's case he is mistaking tribalism for something else.

    I haven't said or even hinted that you should feel any certain way. I am only pointing out your hypocrisy. You would, no doubt, be all over this if those same people were killed by shooters. If you aren't in it for the lives saved, you're just in it for red vs blue talking points.

    Pretty sure that's the driving force for most of you. At least I am honest enough to admit I wasn't surprised by it, but then I wasn't surprised by the shooting in Conn either other than the fact most were children.
