Figured cats would run with it ...with Teo, and Kwame Harris in the news lately ...
Gay has his faults that stem all the way back to uconn but he is CURRENTLY the best player the deal. I think Davis has the potential to be better, and I thought although soft, Date had showed signs of promise as a rookie ...haven't seen Detroit much, since I see more Laker Clip and mavs games then any other so I see Detroit maybe 6 times a year max. What happened to dates promise? Or Stuckey? When I.do see Detroit its all Greg Monroe, Bynum and lately Drummond ...

, now what will Spurs fans' excuses be if their team loses in the playoffs to the Grizzlies again?
speaks like a re too...Can't handle himslef on TV..LMAOL
I mean, the Spurs lost to the Gay-less Grizzlies in 2011, if they lose to they Gay-less Grizzlies again, it will confirm what everybody knows: that Gay made the Grizzlies worse
while lis sread yis just another example of hou the average nba fan is crueless, your post is quite a quintessence of you s' dumbness and stupidity tbh.
Gay out for MEM means one thing: more touches for Conley/ZBo/Marc. They're Memphis' real Big 3.
This is good trade for Memphis. They get rid of overrated Gay and received solid package. Detroit was salary dumping, not a biggie there.
But big WTF to Toronto. Now they have fat Lowry at point, overrated DeRozan, overrated and overpaid Gay, overpaid Fields, overpaid scrub Bargnani. This team isnt going anywhere soon. Since they cant sign big FA, they took fat Gay`s contract, thinking he is this all-star player ? WTF.
Bill Simmons
Rudy Gay is their Richard Jefferson tbh.
amazing trade for the raptors but their players don't fit at all. Maybe moving derozan or adapt him to the 3 range and some D, but i don't see that likely.
Yeah. DeRozan, Gay and Fields are very similar. They surely cant play all together in same time with successes. + they have young Ross asking for minutes at SG and bricking C in Bargnani. Good luck to Raptors coach trying to make this mess somehow work.
Woj took some shots at Hollinger for this trade in today's column:
http://sports.yahoo.com/news/nba--ru...065716242.htmlOnce again, the breaking down of this Grizzlies roster is a reminder that every NBA star had better make sure he understands the track records of the owners and executives with whom he's turning over his future. The Grizzlies issued a statement on the trade late Wednesday, and embarrassingly had "general manager Chris Wallace" throw out the obligatory organizational quotes on the deal. Only, Wallace had nothing to do with the trade. Nothing. He isn't making calls to teams. He isn't consulted by the new regime. He's waiting until they agree on the terms of his inevitable parting. So, Pera and new CEO Jason Levien take an unpopular trade and assign it to Wallace in the news release.
Levien is making these deals based largely on the recommendations of John Hollinger, a statistician who worked for a cable sports company. The San Antonio Spurs once used him as a consultant and regretfully took his advice to sign a free agent named Jackie Butler. It was such a disaster, the Spurs had to attach Luis Scola to a trade to get Butler out of town.
So Bargnani is hurt Jonas is hurt and they trade their only other healthy big when they have 3 wings 2 of which they just signed, sounds about right since its Toronto
Hollinger had a say in bringing Jackie Butler here? I thought it was all Larry Brown recommending him to Pop since he had him in NY during his stint there tbh.
How do you feel about getting a decent PG in Calderon
"Iranian, Spaniard, Prince involved in Gay three-way."
fck the raptors fanbase, yet these clowns still rock up to support that organization...
