typical americans have short attention span. need to be fed entertainment and varied one every few minutes. The fat s need to pass the time while they stuff their faces with the greasy they serve there. Plus it's all business, entertainment companies use those avenues to promote and sell more to the idiot masses.

It's all about money and draining up to the last cent from the fat conveyor belt pieces of that the NBA/NFL/Hollywood sells their ty products to. the american public

that's the way it works and it's not like they only sell their products to the american public, foreign s buy their s too. it's disappointing to see the real sport gone and replaced by a moneytized exhibition like WWE, but im fine with it as long as it doesn't get any subsidies from the government.

and the chinese seem to be dumber than the americans. Go to china and you will see them fattening up and buying re ed after re ed to look "cool". just look at their commercials and ads, they are even dumber than american ads of the 50s and 60s. and chinaman eats that up

The fact that legit stars want nothing to do with it, unlike the old days, says it jumped the shark about a year before the Howard/Nate thing. The AS game itself is a dunk contest. Why do we need another one? There should be all stars and that's it, no 3pt shooting, no skills challenge, none of that . I don't even like the rookie/sop re game or rising stars or whatever. They manage to get damn near every NBA player in it. Just have the AS game. I can just elect to not watch it as well, which I have mostly done.
