OKC got the raps pick.
Harden is only 23.
Already top 6 player in NBA (LBJ, Ref, CP3, Kobe, Parker, Harden).
Locked up for 5 years. Woot woot. Thanks Presti.
OKC got the raps pick.
It is all about the finals
Harden was 22 at the time? First finals appearance. A sixth man at the time. Harden canceled out Westbrick's chucking tendencies. If it was all about the finals, then Kobe sure as doesn't fare well.
I think you meant Ibaka in the bolded spot, but I wholeheartedly agree with your take. They traded a top-tier swingman - who happened to be the team's best playmaker, is playing the second weakest position in the league and is cold-blooded in crunch time - to keep an overrated (defensively), offensive liability that can't play against certain match-ups or in long stretches. I really think that Presti cut off his nose to spite his face with the Harden trade. Unless a complete collapse occurs with Miami, then OKC isn't ringing anytime soon...............
Yes, because Presti is batting 1.000% in the draft lottery (does the name Cole Aldrich ring a bell) and is sure to find a top 20 level player in a "weak" draft.OKC got the raps pick.

Just thank Christ he didn't come here. I'd have to live with that.
There'd be no end.
Well with Westbrook's injury, they could have used this guy TBH

makes you wonder where'd they be now had they kept harden over westbrook...
I don't think you can argue that Harden would of been better to keep over Westbrook. Can't expect injuries either.
its not a matter of paying westbrook instead of harden, but rather paying perkins/ibaka instead of harden

I wonder who Presti will give away dat Reggie Jackson for?
If I were Mitch, I would see about trading Glock and Duhon for him. Presti is about the only GM in the league that can get taken by Kupcake.
