Do you no longer work at IDRA Manny?
Project Manager for a Geotechnical Engineering firm.
No, unfortunetly that was a temporary assingment Flea and it came to an end. It's quite possible that I may be called back in the future though, and if so I'll make time to work a few hours a day out there as well. I loved it there.
I really enjoy my new workplace however. I have such a variety of responsibilities it's awesome.

Do you guys work on AC's and are you open at all on the weekends?![]()
I work at home.
I'm a stay at home mom.
I both love my job and hate my job.
1. staying at home with a kid and being responsible for the running of a household is far far harder then any job I have ever had before.
2. it is also more rewarding
3. it IS work..... if only I got paid......
4. I really appreciate being able to take care of errands and chores during regular buisness hours at my own pace , instead of rushing during a lousy 1hr. lunch as I had before.
5. I've suddenly become a master chef.... I'm always cooking or inventing somethign in the kitchen. And I've never even enjoyed cooking so this is weird.
6. I hate how people assume that I can do this and do that and I can add this chore or that activity to my plate "well you stay home so you have the time" ..UGH!! well A>i won't have the time if you keep adding more and more for me to do.. and B> it's not like I'm sitting on my ass here people.
overall I guess you could say I like my job. I couldn't imagine going back to outside work anytime soon... maybe when the girls go to school I'll get a part time gig... we'll see. Also I like having control over my house: meals, chores, bills, family plans.... I feel like I'm the overlord of a kingdom.
I was a stay at home mom for a few weeks when the company I worked for forever went 7 on me. It was awesome being able to drop them off at school, do a daily 2 hour marathon at the gym...come home and pick up around the house....pick them up from school...start dinner. Only because I had money in the bank.
But, I like the $200 trips to the salon.....medical insurance, groceries, you know....
I couldn't stand not having my own income.![]()
