The Spurs offense worries me right now. They just can't seem to put together a good string of games offensively. They are still too Tony Parker reliant, and that is too easy to shut down. Plus, Parker can't seem to get healthy. Right now, I'd have to take Memphis in 6. They are playing extremely consistent right now. They have all the tools to win the championship this year.

If the Spurs can find some offensive rhythm, I think they could sweep the Grizzlies and ultimately win the whole thing. Until I see some of that consistency from early in the year, I can't pick them to beat elite teams like Memphis and Miami.

Spurs in 5. Grizzlies only get game 3.

Game 5 will be a blowout win.

Spurs can only win if we win it early. Can't see Timmy surviving 7 games against Gasol and Randolph

If Spurs win the first two home games, Spurs in 5. If we drop either of them, Grizz in 6.

As a stat nerd, I'll go with the most likely outcome as Spurs in 5. Hold home, win 1 in Memphis.

2nd most likely outcome is Grizz in 6(They steal 1 and hold) followed by Spurs in 7.

    It'll be a war.

I guess I don't blame you for being snakebit about the Spurs' health in the last few years, but methinks you were watching with someone who was saying "Oh my God, look how he's limping" and got overly caught up in that. The Spurs aren't playing their best, but they're doing everything necessary, rebounding, limiting turnovers, assists to allow them to win most of the time, and to be close even in the worst scenarios. They match up really well with Memphis, can score inside, hit their free throws, and rebound. They're deeper and more talented, and they don't have to shoot or hit a lot of threes in order to keep the game close. Memphis' offense looked lethargic against an OKC team waving the white flag at them. The Spurs will score 85 point by accident in this series.

And please stop drinking the DPOY Koolaid. Gasol's the second best defender on his own team.

    Unfinished Grizzness, tbh.

Memphis is scary but flawed. Gasol and Randolph punked us once but this is a different stage. No shooters to depend on, no elite wings to take over games, bench is versatile but inexperienced. If Conley beats us offensively like he did against OKC, then we deserve to lose. Force Gasol to have huge games, because he ain't carrying this team offensively.

Assuming we can move the ball and make the right adjustments to their very traditional defensive approach, Spurs in 5.

Only downside of any outcome for all of this is that all of our roleplayers value just shot up alot.

Spurs in 5. Not impressed with Memphis tbh. Beating an Westbrook-less OKC (barely in a couple of those games) doesn't say much.

I think this series will go 7 games (hope I'm wrong though) with both teams having a good chance of winning. I'll say Spurs in 7.
