In case you are interested it's a 2010 Washington State Cab from Columbia Crest called Horse Heaven Hills. I love Costco. I'll read the descriptions and the ratings and buy ten different wines and then go back and buy ones that catch my interest in more quan y. This one is quite nice. Earthy with deep berry flavors and a soft tannin cocoa finish. I think it was $11.
Sorry CC, I don't care what your costco wine description is.....an 11 dollar bottle is.....11 dollars.
That being said, the only 11 dollar red bottles I will drink are Napa Cellars, Apothic, Cryptic, and pe e pe . On on sale of course. I've dabbled in a lot of high end reds but find myself liking the 20-30 dollar bottles more than the 60-100 dollar bottles, reason being I drink a lot of wine. Lodi has some of my favorite reds ever. Can't really go wrong with any of their reds. Want an ass kicking red try a bottle of earthquake by Michael and David Phillips. Californians are spoiled with good decently priced wine.

I started the grill one morning, put the brisquet on, went to church and came back. Sure there was a hole melted on the top of my grill, but the best brisquet i ever cooked. I had all the Tennesseans asking me what this magical delicious meat was.

Not tonight. Tomorrow at the ranch I will be heavily armed and drinking and driving between the fences. I'm thinking smoked double pork chops tomorrow night and a shrimp/sausage cajun boil on Sunday.
The mother ing truth. Some nice jumbo gulf shrimp, sausage, some ears of corn chopped up, some of those little red potatoes, and a gang of crawfish.
