Only on ST is Pau a leader and carries a franchsie to back2back les despte having no playoff wins prior to Lakers tbh ...
That's because that's how it is.

Is it just a coincidence that Lakers could barely sneef the playoffs and all of a sudden they go to the Finals and win it in consecutive years? Ummm

Bull . he just needed a better coach and a legit #2 option ...
I don't think he needed a coach; just the legit #2 option would have been enough for him to ring there. But nothing Cleveland did in his 7 years there makes me think they were ever getting that legit #2. They threw money at worthless like Shaq, Ben Wallace, Jamario Moon, Anthony Parker, etc. I think he would have rang in Cleveland with as little as Boozer as his #2 had they not tried to con him into signing for the MLE.

Flames is a moron on the subject but has great taste in women ...

Lakers were at least winning playoff games what was Pau's excuse ... ilike Pau but those are the facts

Might of had to trade for one but I think him being so unselfish and such buddies with so many players SOMEONE would of joined him ...

dude can't get any more help from the FO. his teammates are performing below their levels because most of them already have rings and look kinda complacent, and their FO have little to do to retrieve the situation.

plus refs have been whistling fairly through this postseason so s didn't get as much help from the refs as they expected to get

As some have said, even though this thread was supposed to be a joke, Lebron desperately needs help. What does it say about his supporting cast that when he has an average outing, his team gets blown out. People keep making fun of Lebron on here because he joined the super team, but what does that matter if the other two don't do anything. Their names don't impact the score board, bottom line is they combined for 15 points...This entire post season pretty much Bosh and especially Wade have played like glorified role players. Lebron is really having to do as much work as he did in Cleveland.

their squad is malformed, with a stacked backcourt and a relative weak/thin front court. it's not just bron himself, the team needs help in rebounding and interior defense. last night's game was a solid testament to birdman's importance for his team, and also a good example that shows how depleted the team is inside.

Lebron doesn't need help. Credit the best defensive team in the league for doing what they do best. Their plan was simple, allow James to get his numbers, have him do his usual drive and pass trick and let the shooters beat you. They're packing the paint area and this was their priority.

The Heat were so effective when Wade or Mario brings up the ball and allow James to post up on George. IIRC it was game 3 where they did this and James was destroying George and Indiana inside. Its baffling they went away from this since they have a batter ball movement that way.

This is why I love the greatness that is dirk nowitzki. He managed to ring against the heavy favorite even tho he had career chokers/underperformers and no other all stars.
lol, that dallas team was like the deepest team of all time, and the heavy favourite for anybody that was able to see the missmatches.

Verjao and Mo williams were decent players
He stays eventually they get it right like Dallas with Dirk or Houston with Hakeem. Lebron is better than both
Mo Williams was an emo choking tbh, and while Varejao is a fine role player you don't want him to be your second-best player, which he was for much of LeBron's time in Cleveland.

Outside of catching lightning in a bottle like the Mavs did in 2011, the only way LeBron could have rung in Cleveland was if he sat out a season w/an "injury" a la David Robinson in 1996-97, thus allowing the Cavaliers to draft another star. The fact is, established players don't want to come here if they have other options. That's just the way it is.

He did the right thing by leaving, imo. He has the ring to prove it.

Cleveland didn't lose LeBron in the summer of 2010; they lost him in the summer of 2004 when they let Boozer walk and spent the 10th overall pick on Luke Jackson. They were screwed from that point forward, tbh.

Lebron never needed another Superstar to win a le in Cleveland. They just needed another star and another solid bench player to make it work. In hindsight, he couldve probably won the le in 2012 even if he was in Cleveland. His biggest adversaries were injured (Dwight, D Rose) he could beat the Celtics and OKC in 2012 simply because hes that good that year. Lebron just didn't had the patience and wanted the easy way to win.

Wow, idiots are still pushing the "LeBron could have rang in Cleveland but pussed out" take even after a Cavsfan admitted they weren't getting a sidekick for Bron.... LeBron didn't take the "easy route to a ring" by going to Miami, he took the ONLY route to a ring by getting the out of Cleveland, tbh....

And people apparently haven't learned from this year's Lakers that a stacked team on paper doesn't guarantee success, tbh..... at some point, Wade and Bosh have to actually live up to their superstar Big Three billing in the playoffs....

Getting out of Cleveland was his only route to a ring, regardless of whether it was Miami, Chicago, LA, Dallas, etc....
