Heat never lost after a loss in the playoffs...
I feel good. My organs are functioning. Thanks.
As far as game 6, it is a mystery to me.
Mark my words, I don't know what will happen with any level of confidence. This is why I watch the games.
Heat never lost after a loss in the playoffs...
Leave it all out there.. Go get it..
woah. We dont even know DG is capable of taking this one man show on the road tbh.
He made 9 three-pointers in Games 1 and 2 in Miami, combined, so why not?
I worry about game 6 because I always worry. I agree that if it goes to 7, we are toast.
Last night I watched without getting on the board because I kept thinking "this is like when you are young and you are almost afraid to want something sooooo much because you feel like you will just be lost if it doesn't work out", and chatting via this forum would be too distracting.
My biggest worry about game 6 is the same one I have had since the beginning of this series...LBJ dropping his shoulder and driving into the paint and charging, but all the calls go against the spurs for blocking calls...our bigs get fouled out and then the Heat have a layup drill.
I still feel like this is a Spurs in 7 thing.
The pressure of the Miami media and crowd over the refs will be terrible.
Who are the refs ????![]()
I would have to think the refs are going to be one of the Crawfords, which of course either team wants Joey, as a spur fan I would prefer Danny. His style of officiating is more in line with the spurs style of play.
I am at peace the Spurs have gone this far. Naturally, I am hopeful for a Game 6 or Game 7 win. But even if they lose the series, I will always be a fan! Of course, nobody loves the bought dynasty nor the super friends outside South Beach!
No resting ANYONE ANY MORE. Put it ALL on the line tomorrow night, Kawhi 48 minutes, Danny 48 minutes and the other starts 36-40 minutes with Diaw picking up a good amount too.
LET'S GET IT #5
My original prediction was Spurs in 6, W-L-W-L-W-W and it's right on the money so far so I'm sticking to it!

I don't have any doubt in my mind right now. The Spurs will win Game 6 and the championship.

GO SPURS GO!!!!!
Launch 3s, lots of em. House money, feed the 3s and if they sink the Heat break.
I'm pretty sure the Heat will jump out to a lead, perhaps a double-digit lead early on, at some point tomorrow. How well the Spurs weather that rough stretch may determine whether they hoist the trophy or not.
I know the Spurs will be ready to get it done. Timmy must impose his will. My only real concern is you know stern will be bent on getting this to a 7th game.
As long as we don't turn the ball over we got it. Not sure how we survived 18 TOs last night but whatever. Two chances to win? I don't see the Spurs losing back to back games, but I still say they win in 6.
Now that they can see it within their grasp I don't think they'll let it get away.
We either get blown out, lose a close one, or win a close one.
People have overreacted to the last 5 games. Miami (like the Spurs) is a great bounce back team.
The Spurs will have to play a very, very good game for the full 48 to have a chance at winning. Even a 6-0 run for the Heat can snowball into a blowout.
Turnovers are the absolute key. I'm hoping for a G1 type effort from the Spurs and i have confidence that they can maintain the focus needed to steal one.
Just hoping that Spo has run out of adjustments and this game comes down to the better TEAM which I believe the Spurs are. Regardless, this will be the toughest game in the Spurs' Finals history (yes, tougher than G7).
1.
If spurs limit the turnovers, it's a championship on Tuesday. Turnovers give the Heat easy points, and takes away precious attempts, and it gets the crowd in it.
Sounds like a dare-to-be-great situation if there ever was one. I hate seeing the Spurs lose, so of course am rooting for them in game 6, but nothing, I mean NOTHING, could possibly top the jubilation of beating King James, DWade and company in a winner-take-all game 7. It would be the stuff of legend.
That's great if the Spurs win. But what if the Spurs lose? They'd be F*CKED in Game 7 ... no one would have any legs.
The road team hasn't won a Game 7 since 1978. Let that sink in. Wait for it.....
So, um, Game 6 is like really important then. Remember Timmy in that OT game against Golden State a few weeks ago? That's the Tim I want to see in Miami. It's one game. I want it to be an Old Man And The Sea performance.
Tim, before Game 6:
"If I were him I would put in everything now and go until something broke. But, thank God, they are not as intelligent as we who kill them; although they are more noble and more able."
And LeBron, before Game 6:
“Perhaps I should not have been a fisherman, he thought. But that was the thing that I was born for.”
---------------
Aw, ... look at all the Old Man And The Sea Quotes that fit. How can you pick just one?:
"Every day is a new day. It is better to be lucky. But I would rather be exact. Then when luck comes you are ready.”
"To with luck," the boy said. "I'll bring the luck with me." (Danny Green)
"But I must have the confidence and I must be worthy of the great DiMaggio who does all things perfectly even with the pain of the bone spur in his heel."
“I may not be as strong as I think, but I know many tricks and I have resolution.”
“I hate a cramp, he thought. It is a treachery of one's own body.”
"A man can be destroyed but not defeated."
"There are many good fishermen (players) and some great ones. But there is only one you."
That's simply the risk. Unless the Spurs are losing by 20 points in the second half, San Antonio must do everything to win.
