The problem with spurs fans and Kobe haters is that they look at stats instead of RESULTS....If duncan had Kobe instead of Parker, Ginobli and Manu, the spurs would've won. That is undeniable.

That 2004 Finals team was missing Malone to injury, Kobe had the Rape Case, The pistons had a top 5 all time defense, and Payton didn't fit with the system. Saying stuff like..."The year before his stats were.." is rediculous...

The spurs didn't win the 97 Championship. Why not? THE YEAR BEFORE, robinson averaged 20-10....thats a rediculous statement. Its what they do now, not last year...

I understand, it's hard out there without Kobe attracting double teams and spoon feeding you for open jumpers but 0-16 in the playoffs without Kobe is straight up trash.
...& broke Media's heart. They so wanted Pau, Howard and Nash to make a statement sans Kobe.

What did you think about Nash quitting midway through the series?

I wasn't surprised. Once they found out they couldn't function without Kobe they all more or less quit.

*** Bumped in lieu of the proposed blockbuster trade ***

Do it Mitch. And try to squeeze a #1 out of Ainge while you're at it.

Boston is going tank mode with that trade, Lakers gonna rob the C's blind and give them Pau in return. Maybe as a 3rd team of that blockbuster, sending Humph and Rondo to LA for Pau.

giving Rivers the green light to LA already marked the start of the rebuilding process imho, and this time it's gonna be longer and more painful than last time because they don't have a real franchise player (like pierce) to build around
