I think it will be 2 years 5-6 milions per year. Let's hope it's not more than that, Duncan's earning 10 and he's two or three times better player than manu's right now
Manu Ginóbili will continue in San Antonio for two more seasons
After letting us know he was a free agent, the man from Bahia announced in his Twitter account that he will continue on the Texas team for two seasons
[DEVELOPING] Despite speculations, and just a day after remembering he was a free agent after nine years, Manu Ginóbili announced he'll continue playing for San Antonio Spurs for two more seasons. He'll be 37 at the end of this deal.

Well, that's not a lot... if I spot contract details, I'll chime in

What player throws out his $$$ info?
don't buying that for a minute.
Game 6 was ours. Game 7 always felt like a loss, even though it was close.
Ginoboli was good against most teams. Miami is great at creating turnovers and while Ginoboli is good at making lemonade when the offense stalls, the one team that is good at picking off passing lanes is Miami. Basically, they are the worst team for him to freelance against.
I hope that's a sick joke.![]()
I was kidding.
That woud be comparable to all of the rest of the Spur decisions that were made in game 6 and 7. Looks like we are on a roll, and can't find a way to stop.
If it really is 2/20, it reminds me of David Robinson's deal in 2001.
In fact, the whole situation is eerily similar.
Doubt this. Spurs are loyal, but they aren't paying 37-year old Ginoboli ten million for a season.
whoop de doo. take your seizure meds manu
Pretty sure the guy is getting a blank check at this point.
c'mon, he's earned 14 milion this season, and he can't be healthy for half a season. He's NOT worthy 10 milion, and much less when maybe we are talking about the last two years of Duncan's career. you FO if the two year 20 milion deal it's true.
LMAO at the second tweet.![]()
Spurs are screwed if they just signed Manu for 10/year. Free agency would be done. They basically re-signed Splitter, Ginobili, and I'm sure Neal will take the deal. Great ing job FO.
10 million a year? Crazy! Maybe his contract should include a $10,000 fine per turnover he causes. Then maybe he might be a bit more careful with the en ball.
Great news!Welcome back manu, glad you'll be starting and finishing your career in silver and black
Hopefully it's a reasonable contract
I am glad. I love Manu. I just didn't love the end result of the season. But there is blame to go around. He just had the more obvious let down I think with turnovers; not making game winning plays.
Some were questioning whether he wanted to even play the game, so this proves he still has passion.
I just hope the money is fair, and if he took less knowing that the Spurs could have more money for more FA's well then it shows he's about the team as well.
I won't have a problem with what ever the number is.
I don't even think the Spurs have $10m to throw at him without amnestying Bonner and letting Neal walk?
Also, if it is indeed $10m, isn't that below his cap hold, and does that mean the Spurs renounced him to go under the cap? dammit, where's Chinook?![]()
Welcome back, Manu.
2yr/13-14mil is fine with me.
Anything else is too much but I'm still glad that he'll be back.
here's hoping most of the GNSFs meltdown and kill themselves tbh.
