which one sent the game to overtime? Which one counted at the most crucial point?
you obviously don't have a problem forgetting his 3 before that one, Manu gave some this postseason but he took A LOT more.
also, Manu not contributing much if any trough whole finals besides game 5? no problem, we didn't really need him anyways but in game 6 not only did he not contribute but he was Miami's 3rd best player on the floor and that's not easy to forget (especially with Thread back)

tbqh I'd rather we lost to GSW than had 6
LOL. How about his 48 points in the Suns series in 07? Or his 24/10 performance the game before 6? Yeah, JJ Re who is making 6.5 million sure would have done the latter.
I don't mind him being resigned, he deserves that much but I'm pretty sure he'd stay even with a 10mil/2year deal which would give us room to bring someone, but now the chances of that happening are very slim
We still have the MLE and LLE.
The Spurs prospects: Ellis, Kirilenko, Billups, Oden and Barnes all can sign those. , maybe two.
Considering how underpaid he was for most of his career, I'm ok with overpaying him by a couple of million now. As Thread pointed out, the Spurs are still close and can compete again next year with essentially the same lineup. Why mess with a team that was a minute away from a championship?
eh, we'll see but I won't hold my breath
Another typical off season for SA.
Now you're just talking like an idiot.
why? same result (no championship) but without having 6 as one of the biggest failures in NBA history.
Just... stfu
The Spurs are making that money back in the first year alone by selling Manu jerseys to be@ners, tbh...
They do need to do package Bonner+Neal and get some other playmaker in return...
Not a chance.
Tim and Tony should be making the max but s took one for the team. Manu is worth the 7 imo, so I wouldnt say he's overpaid...but hes also not underpaid. He didnt take one for the team. Especially with how close we were this season I figured he would to help us nab a key FA, pretty disappointed in him tbh.
You're assuming the FO would've used the amnesty on Bonner. I'm nowhere near sure of that.
that would be hilarious if this contract does come back to bite us in the ass, sort of like Manu's last contract. so is Argie going to run his body down in the summer, like usual, playing for his national team? guess we'll find out.
at this point, i'm just going to wait to vent GNSF style until I see what we're doing near the playoffs. Perhaps we're waiting for a mid season acquisition.
He already told the NT coach he won't play this summer...
...and onto the sword they go.
Glorious meltdown tbh.
