They're dumb because they actually believe they have a shot at Howard.
They're really dumb if they're shopping Bogut without having any sort of real commitment from him.
They're dumb for thinking they even really need him and being willing to part with one of their kids for a loser.
Just dumb. It'd be a "selling their soul to win now" move, except they wouldn't win and Howard would likely become a cancer and distraction and butt heads with Jackson. We all know how much he likes killing coaches and not taking blame.
