True...Laker fans are en led. The reality check on the horizon will straighten em up imo.
Lakers cant always win, some of the yonger fans which make up i want to say like 90% of the internet posters, have grown up in a great laker era. So they have not seen anything else, tbh i remember those days with van exel, and eddie jones, kobe, shaq, kept losing that was rough.
Agreed. These prototypes would be much better imo.

Watching the Rockets fail in the 2nd round is going to be funny![]()
No one cares Clyde had Hakim, or Magic had KAJ. But somehow magically when it comes to Kobe he 'needed' a big man to win it all. As if anyone in the history of the game didnt have a sidekick or 2 on a team.
tbh Dwight is a massive got but he has caused the Laker franchise and the entire city of LA so much asspain that I almost admire his trolling abilities. Can't wait to see his return to LA
People say that about Magic/Kareem a lot. They had Big Game James as well. But seriously, you cannot compare old Drexler to prime Shaq, c'mon bro
well dwight has more to show of his career than yao..
I wasnt, I was comparing Hakim to Shaq in which Hakim is better. If I was a neutral fan of the Lakers I would despise Kobe as well, but I would know deep down its because he won so many damn rings and he 'had help'. But I would look at the reality, everyone needs help.
Lebron has literally the best team ever assembled as well. I think the greatest act MJ ever did was convince everyone he did it on his own.
I guess, but Hakeem's first le team was a one man show pretty much. Yeah he had clutch players but those were role guys who stepped up, just like Danny Green, they are not going to win you the series. Hakeem and Duncan have both won les with no other all-star players or even true 2nd options. Dirk as well (he had a great team though). However, Tim Duncan is the only player in NBA history to win multiple les without an All-NBA teammate...
But yeah bball is a team sport and obviously everyone needs SOME help, no one can truly do it by themselves. Shaq needed Kobe during the 3peat but not as much as Kobe needed Shaq imo
Just out of curiosity, is your sig of Lebron indicating how many times he shot his load in your mouth?
Kobe definitely needed Shaq more, I agree 100%. But then ask yourself this, what was the one HUGE difference on how Chicago and Cleveland approached MJ and Lebron respectively as compared to the Lakers approaching Kobe?
Chicago and Cleveland actually started building a team around those guys in his rookie year, the Lakers organization wanted Kobe to develop and build around Shaq. It's not his fault the organization was unsure of him, even the Twolves built around KG from day 1. The Lakers may have been the wrong team in someways for Kobe to prove himself, it would have been interesting to see what would happen if they built solely around him since day 1.
You don't really wanna know....
Hakeem is already on record as saying Kobe is the 2nd greatest behind MJ in his view....
2 is not enough.. that is thirstier than lawrence of arabia in the crossing the saudi desert tbh.
Solid interview. Dwight actually admitted he asked for Phil.
Do it Mitch doesn't look terribly smart right now, tbh.
