I've seen so much game tape on Kawhi and after analysis of him running, walking, jumping, lateral movements and toe up and heel down movements, I see no physical discomfort nor do I see any compensation to make up for the pain in his knee.
I don't know. The pain in his knee seemed true.

Every Spur player that gets a lot of minutes is going to have ice strapped to their knees. At times, when the Spurs are winning and the Bench Mob is playing, the starters will already have ice strapped on. Ice helps to minimize any swelling or pain from game action.
When he was walking around the San Diego County Fair there was no brace, there was no limp...nothing.
He could have discomfort, but hey, most of us who spend time on our feet all day have that.
Screenshots of the micro-movie only show what we already know...that Spurs players, including Kawhi, get ice. But truth, all starters in the NBA should ice, in fact, if you are rec league player, and you play at least 30 minutes of compe ive ball, you too should ice. Taking an ibuprofen for it's anti-inflammatory effects couldn't hurt either provided you don't have any adverse reactions to ibuprofen.
