energy= (mass) x (the speed of light) 2

Elementary, my dear Mookie.
The Special Theory (E=mc2) and the General Theory of Relativity explain all this.
It's very easy reading...
energy= (mass) x (the speed of light) 2

Very interesting. They say that going faster than the speed of light is theoretically possible but physically impossible. Going faster than the speed of light would be equal to time-traveling, but as the reckoning posted, the spectrum effect would rip a ship to billions of pieces at the other end. Kind of like pointing your flashlight light at a distance, the light eventually spreads itself out to where there is no longer enough light (or particles) left. If man is ever to move out of this galaxy, its probably going to have to be through worm holes or inter-dimensional travel. An object can in fact never reach the speed of light, because by then its mass would have become infinite, and by the equivalence of mass and energy, it would have taken an infinite amount of energy to get it there. So I dont think that help from an object moving would boost light's speed. But Im not sure so Im probably wrong
Right, light speed is a constant and will never change. So I dont think that help from an object moving would boost light's speed.
Actually, particles can travel faster than the speed of light. Remember, as you approach the speed of light, the space around the particle begins to warp (and i don't mean like star trek). So, theoretically, the particle itself may be travelling faster than light, but the space around it may be travelling less than the speed of light, which is where relativity and quantum mechanics take over.
It's quite simple...
Many creationists would say that the speed of light is "slowing down," or that it was created "en route," which explains how the Universe could have been created 6-10,000 years ago.
This also demonstrates the utter stupidity of many creationists, and the need for quality science classes in public schools.
Swishy McJackass learned that in Woodsboro HS.
lol most say that the universe is expanding
Some say there are 3 parallel(possibly more) universes - past, present, and future, and they are all happening simultaneously, but we only recognize what is relative to us at this point in time.
the speed of light is about 186,000 miles per second
ya one russian scientist said that the universe appears all the same to us in all directions
some scientists also say that there might be a shadow universe if we think in terms of an atom....to kind of counter ours like a shadow...and that there are shadow beings walking around in it
kindve freaky if you ask me
You have no idea about real Science! But for $99.99 I can get you started on your way!
this is accounted for in holographic universe theories, but with little concrete evidence
wtf are yall getting this?
if you had read the dancing wu li masters in the half year i've been lending it out to you, you would be able to come up with postulates of your own
you havent even read the whole thing, and i KNOW reckoning isnt this smart
There's no real "concrete" evidence in quantum physics eitherthis is accounted for in holographic universe theories, but with little concrete evidence![]()
Zukov talks about light and the double slit experiment in like the 1st or 2nd chapter.
Reckoning is under the tutelage of Pimpo, so..
I dont think holographic universe theories rely too much on quantum physics, at least not the one i read about. Actually my initial post was slightly in jest because it was mostly psuedo-science.There's no real "concrete" evidence in quantum physics either
Well what I meant was you say it's psuedo-science because there isn't any actual "concrete" evidence to support it, but quantum physics is pretty much just guessing and estimating as well, but many believe in it. So perhaps the hologram thing can have some merit also, its a good topic to discuss when smoking out.I dont think holographic universe theories rely too much on quantum physics, at least not the one i read about. Actually my initial post was slightly in jest because it was mostly psuedo-science.![]()
Concrete is a mixture of Portland cement, sand, gravel or crushed stone, water and entraped air. Cement is not concrete; it is merely a component of concrete. Concrete is brittle in tension and is typically reinforced with shredded fibers, steel mesh, or steel bars.
Instead of smoking to that, make yourself useful & go pour a sidewalk.![]()
true dat mah brotha
reckoning, you're knowledg dropping is getting wayyy out of hand
im not that smart...i just have my theory of relativity and quantum physics down
what? you cant withstand a 15 year old dropping knowledge?
