    Spurs

I don't blame Bud taking up on alcoholism after the game 6 performance by Manu
Way to blaze the trail on the unexpected retorts.

Except the legal limit is .08
I think he meant .01 but it does not matter. He did this after he was released on bond hours and hours later.

If you like to drink and drive, you might want to learn the laws of the state and the ramifications of refusing at the scene.
I have to think it was a typo and it was .01 vs .08. I'm guessing there will be some more clarification at some point.

Idiotic drinking and driving. He probably wishes he could crawl shamefully back to Pop.

What's more stupid? Drinking and driving, or insisting on Manu down the stretch?

Nah, he has a connection in the front-office and this public embarrassment will hopefully teach him a lesson. How millionaires (or hundred thousand in Bud's case) can't afford to have a driver or a taxi cab available is perplexing?
I agree fully! I am not even rich at all but I always take a cab now or refuse to drive even after a drink or so. I learned my lesson years ago, no reason if you have that dough to not use it and get a safe ride.

Holy smokes, I would NEVER expect Bud to be arrested for a DUI. Wow. Pretty shocking. At least it was in the offseason. Just because he was arrested for DUI don't mean though. A cop can pull you over, smell the booze in the car, and from that point forward you're ed. Doesn't mean you're drunk or were driving drunk. Innocent til proven guilty. Free coach Bud!

I know you're being a little tongue in cheek, but since one just involves a meaningless athletic game and the other gets people (like my grandparents) killed, i'd say the former.

If you've only had one drink, why would you refuse the breath test? Furthermore, why do you guys in the US get a choice on the breath test?

Even Spock would have trouble with this one.

Perhaps Manu-down-the-Stretch is what caused the DWI....

because we aren't as big a pussies as you guys. We still have the slightest little bit of resistance to big government tyranny disguised as public safety. Pretty soon even looking at booze will get you a DWI. Watch.

considering he's rich and connected, he'll pay a fine, get a slap on the wrist, and have no criminal record.

for anyone else, it's lots of classes, hard earned money that you need going to some congressman's relative, and not being allowed to drive in a society that doesn't offer safe, reliable public transportation.
