there is no potential in Russell. believe you me. as a fan of the team that drafted him and having watched every throw he's made, there's nothing there. i tried to justify the pick during his time, tried to blame the situation, the coaches, our receiving core (our leading WR one year was Johnnie Lee Higgins ), but the dude is just a bum. to me, this game evidences how irrelevant the RB position is in the NFL.

Peterson is clearly the best, but it just doesn't matter without a solid QB.

For the Colts to have given up a 1st for T Rich was absolutely ridiculous.

Even Peterson as great as he is I would hesitate giving up a 1st for him. He's just not a difference maker.
