Wait, what is the difference between a drummer and a drum machine?
You only have to punch the information into the drum machine once.
What did the drummer get on his IQ test?
Drool.
What do strippers do to their assholes before they go to work?
They drop them off at band practice!
What do you call a drummer with a credit card?
Married
That one fits half the posters on this site.

Did you hear about the bass player who locked his keys in his car?
He had to break a window to get the drummer out.
Was it really that funny? You and a few others here have diluted the effect of the rofl emoticon.
Don't hate bro - appreciate!
You were probably too busy eating.
No joke.
I love to eat.
So this guy goes into a store and says, "I want a Vox AC30 amplifier and a Rickenbacker 660/12."
The clerk stops him right there and says,"You're DMC, aren't you"?
"Uh, Yeah, how did you know?"
"This is a travel agency."
I hope you all aren't thinking the electronic set will be silent. It won't be. I have both kinds set up at my house right now (usually there are 2 of each) and of course the acoustic set is loud, but the electronic set isn't a lot quieter. They are set up on opposite ends of the house; the sound just naturally doesn't bother me much, but I hear them both almost equally and they sound enough alike to me that I have to stop and listen to be able to differentiate which kit I'm hearing.
Wouldn't be a big deal. You can get a decent set of Roland's for around $700. Roland's have better sounds and if she loses interests you'll be able to unload it on craigslist pretty quick.
That a used set?
That is a of a price for Roland.
Well, I just looked it up and the cheap one is $800 but we're talking bare bones here. Enough to do the job for a beginner.
Can't beat that price. It include a small amp?
Nah. Just get headphones. That's all you need.
Jeff is a well known drummer in San Antonio I think, but he doesn't seem to be posting here regularly I'm afraid.
Ok...so to pay $800 and then her not take to the drums put me off. For $800, I can get the bunny and cage plus some pretty cheap electronic drums for $500. If she starts complaining that the rides aren't sensitive enough, then I'll be OK upgrading. If she doesn't seem to give a , then I'm OK wasting the money. It's not like we don't already have $1000 in Webkins anyway.
