Spurs had the worst talent pool for any team with anywhere near this many les.

You almost always need 2 out top 10 players in the NBA to win multiple les.

Spurs never had more than one. Pop did the best he could. If Duncan had Kobe instead of Parker/Ginobili he would have won more for sure.

Pop's system is great but it's the stubbornness not to make it an adaptive system that hurts it sometimes. IE when a player has a hot hand not to keep going to them.

The Spurs are the winningest franchise in all of professional sports over the last 15 years. Pop's system is working just fine.
