I understand that the tip is non-reviewable, but I don't see why. It's the go-ahead basket with 2.1 seconds left, the very definition of an important play. If the refs can review things like out-of-bounds calls, why not that? It's not like it affects the course of the game; the Warriors would have had the ball either way, just with a different score if the refs could review it and reverse the call.
It's unreal how bad he is.
The way reviews are now, they are in place to support a) the clock and b) calls made by the officials (most particularly out-of-bounds goal-tending). They are not used to monitor the actions of the players (unless, of course, they are reviewing whether or not the shot left the players hand in time).
I understand where you are coming from: this was a pivotal play in the heart of the game, and you'd think they would want to get it right every time. However, when you start using reviews to judge the actions of the players, where do you start and where do you stop? Should we start reviewing steps to make sure the player didn't travel? Start reviewing shots to make sure there wasn't a missed foul call? When do you choose to review or not, or do you review every play under 2:00 minutes? What qualifies as an "important play" and what doesn't?
When you start leaving that much subjectivity for review in the hands of the officials, I guarantee it is going to start to affect the pace of the game. That's why I think reviews are only allowed to be used when there is an actual foul called, and not just on a made basket.

Reggie Miller is an asshole. Time and time again he has proven he is a lousy human being off the court. It is well do ented.
I don't mind it tbh. He usually just cheers for guys he likes or former friends. Like Marc Jackson is the coach of the Warriors, so he will cheer for them.
He shouldn't be biased because it's a national broadcast, but it's not a big deal. Just enjoy his being mad when Spurs win 'cause that's enjoyable too.

Can somone fill me in on why reggie hates the spurs? He's never played us in the playoffs(obviously) and he's never met us in the finals. Did something happen in a game that triggered all of this? I know why Hubie Brown hates us. His hate has reasoning dating back to 2004. What's the deal with reggie?
