    Seattle. I want Lynch to win MVP, too. That way, we'd see ESPN scramble to keep up their, "You have to have an elite quarterback to in a Super Bowl" agenda.

    It can happen in any era. Anyone who says otherwise is just kidding themselves. Defense still wins championships. Without defense, San Fran is in the Super Bowl.

    Broncos. I'm a huge fan of Manning, I think he's elevated the position and the game. Also I respect Denver since I lived there as a kid, so I'm rooting for them.

    Also Seattle and Niners has turned into a bitter rivalry especially since that Carroll has arrived, so no way I could support that.

    Depends on your definition of defense. You don't need an elite defense anymore in today's game, but you do need one that can get a few stops especially in crunch time (the past 4 SB champs are proof of this). You do need an offense that can execute and score touchdowns in the redzone.

    I can agree with that. Having both of those would be good. But on the same cloth, can't you have a below average offense that can put a couple of TDs on the board along with an amazing D, a la Baltimore Ravens 2000?
