You must not have watched Wolves games or even Houston games from a few years ago.

Karl just called Duncan the best big man ever
TD is still such a productive player (especially for his age). I think he will play again next year unless he gets seriously hurt in this last part of the season. Manu and Parker will be back next year and Tim will not bail on them.
If Duncan dropped to the level of 37 or 38 year old Hakeem in Toronto (basically a 6 PPG role player), I would think differently.
Tim is still a double double machine.
?? Tim quietly passed the word that he didn't want to play this year, otherwise the coaches would have voted him in again.
Agreed. The wheels haven't fallen off yet. Far from it.
ZERO rings. He sucks. That's your standard isn't it? If you don't ring, you're ?
That quote was pre-divorce.
Before this season there was a TV interview where he said he absolutely will NOT play beyond this contract because he wants to spend more time with his kids. That's hard enough to do when you're divorced AND travelling all the time.

According to the San Antonio Express-News, former Nuggets coach George Karl mentioned Tuesday on ESPN that Tim Duncan has decided to retire after this season. Duncan was asked about Karl's comments an he refuted the retirement talk.
