and the freaky thing is, when the sox won the world series, the moon was in a total lunar eclipse, colored red. It's like something supernatural was in part of the whole thing.
Not sure if it was game 4 or 5, but after A-Rod struck out on 3 pitches right after the Sox tied it late, you knew that series had just begun.

it is, but since you want to deflect it, the bills were 1 foot of a kickball away from winning a superbowl. They could at least won 1, but now they are forever remembered for going to the bowl 4 straight and not even getting over the hump. Not even once
I take solace in the fact that that the Spurs have four rings.
Dude I have taken gallons of medicine since 6. As a sports fan there is absolutely no tier feeling in the world than starting to celebrate a le only to see it vanish in an instant. My wife refuses to even sympathize with me, even a little. In her eyes "It's just a ing game. It's millionaires throwing a ball in a hole." I've tried to see things that way but all of us here that are real fans of teams know it's not that easy. I mean ... we take it personal when our team loses. We take our medicine.
^'84 was bad, but, it does not compare to last June. I'd hate to be haunted like this. I vacillate twixt feeling bad for you guys & rejoicing your plight.
nothing in my post was a deflection
Bend over. I'll in' vacillate ya.
