I'm not PC. I think it's possible to think someone is a piece of without hating them. Obama sucks. His half whiteness has nothing to do with it. Obama wanted to be president but didn't want to deal with the bad that comes with the presidency.

the bad that comes with Democratic presidency the last 22 years has been bloody minded Repug witch hunting, harassment, full-court obstructionism, and in Obama's case, inheriting a badly mismanaged economy (Repug dereg/misgovernment + Greenspan ups), the worst financial depression in 80 years, and two bogus, botched, lost wars.

I don't give a if Obama inherited a ed up America from Bush. Obama has been president for 5 years. He's had time to fix and has done nothing to fix anything. Bush was probably in on 9/11 which basically destroyed America and Obama was so strongly against so many things that Bush supported but in the end Obama was corrupted by power and greed.

I don't buy the presidency comes with "the bad". The presidency comes with many responsibilities, but also with a lot of power. If he didn't have the balls to do what needed to be done (in my opinion anyways), it's on him, not the presidency.

evidence? Obama has accomplished almost nothing except ACA and way too small stimulus, due Repug obstructionism.

I was trying to say that Obama wanted to be president so bad back in 2008 that now he acts like he doesn't want to own up to his failures and misfortunes aka the bad. He loves the good. He loves whoring himself out to the media and celebrities but hates having to deal with questions about the fact that he sucks ass. You have to be able to handle the good and bad when you are the president.
Boutons, you are a koolaid drinker. There is no point in arguing with you.

Well, he's a politician. The way you stop that is having the GOP win the Senate, control Congress and turn him into a lame duck prez. Could be next November.

cause only having congress hasn't stopped them from keeping him from doing anything

It's different though. I don't think he's taken much heat for that.

Once congress changes hands, they can start putting bills on the table and daring him to veto. Right now, dirty Harry just has to shelve the bills and it doesn't reflect on the president.

Taking Congress would be akin to what happened when the Dems took control at the end of dubya. He became a lame duck and on the defensive.

Bush destroyed America and he knew that while he was destroying America that most of America hated him but it didn't seem like it affected him that much. When Bush was president, he did not give that much of a if people liked him or not.

I wonder. Seems to me the more elegant explanation for LBJ withdrawing in 1968 was realizing, not that he sucked, but that he couldn't win.

any other examples come to mind?

    obama on healthcare:

also clinton on bin laden during some fox interview:

"So I tried and failed.... I had responsibility for trying to protect this country. I tried and I failed to get bin Laden. I regret it. But I did try. And I did everything I thought I responsibly could."

actually... after a quick google search..

    http://www.policymic.com/articles/72705/7-times-u-s-presidents-have-admitted-they-were-wrong-in-history

i think more often than not presidents have realized they suck or that their campaign of lies was a major success

Lyndon was always second guessing decisions and could not sleep.
I think if one asks the historians who write about him, they would say
he fully realized the mistakes he made, even though he blames Vietnam for screwing his domestic plans.

He really did not like being president. He loved being in the Senate.

Jimmy Carter as well for pondering his mistakes and doing the should have why did I not see it

what can your imaginary Divine Right King and omnipotent dictator Obama fix (that you want fixed) without Congress?

what evidence do you have, other than you emotions, that "in the end Obama was corrupted by power and greed"

Well, there is the fact that right wing radio said it, over and over again, so it must be true...

Hating on Obama is a symptom of hating on government in general, but the real problem isn't government but politicians...we elect millionaires to represent us in Congress and then sit around and complain because these guys can't relate to the ordinary joe..we let the private industry write their own legislation and regulation and then complain when there is too much or too little oversight..in TX we have state comptrollers and even judges running against Obama...no experience or qualifications necessary...

Obama was corrupted by greed and power the same way Bush was. Candidate Bush back in 2000 would have been a great president. He was against nation building. He even said that America shouldn't be the policemen of the world. He said that we should lead by example not by force. When Bush became president, he was the complete opposite of that. The same could be said for Obama. Candidate Obama preached to us that voting for McCain would be a 3rd term of Bush. He told us every day in 2008 that he was going to be the anti-Bush. He would end the wars and stop the violation of civil liberties and unite people. He hasn't done any of that. He has enhanced the police state and violated civil liberties a million times more than Bush ever did as president.

I do believe it. Bush wasn't whoring himself out to Jay Leno and Dave Letterman every night. He wasn't telling us his opinion on everything.

If you hated bush that much when he was president, it should be hard for you not to hate Obama because they're basically the two sides of the same coin imho. Son of a hurts this country economically with his healthcare reform bull more than Bush did tbh.
