Any takers on 64 wins breaking the franchise record?
Conceivable with both okc and clippers vying for that top seed keeping Pop going full speed.

This. Spurs ABSOLUTELY need the first seed this year.
whoever picked Utah... you won a self-pat in the back![]()
Glad I was wrong.
If my math serves me, Spurs must win 14 more games to break the franchise record. Go Spurs, regardless. Great late season charge, but coach poop might decide to rest starters n as he has in the past, thwarting it...
Although Pop and players say they really don't care about HC, I think they should and do. Even with a two game lead, the West is still up for grabs. With everyone for the most part healthy and playing so well, it wouldn't surprise me if they broke it.
First to 50! Prorating the lockout season, this is the 15th consecutive season the Spurs reach 50 wins, an absolute NBA record (they already held the record at 14).
Better enjoy them while they're around! We're still part of an unforgettable run!
Truth! I was at the game tonight and felt very fortunate to be watching these guys!![]()
The last lockout didn't need to be pro-rated. We won 50 in 66 games, just like this year. If you prorate the 99 lockout, you can add two more seasons, making 17 consecutive 50 win or equivalent percentage seasons.
oh, I thought it was 15 WITH the 99 lockout... even better then!
Spurstalk pathology: if we win in the regular season, it's fools gold. If someone else beats us, we have no chance to beat them in the playoffs.
I think you mean robdiaz2191 pathology
yo font clown
It's still a great run... you gotta appreciate, tbh...
YES SIR!
DAMN RIGHT!
Just saw on ESPN (via 48moh): "It's the third season in a row that the Spurs have been 50-16 through the first 66 games. San Antonio's consistency is creepy."
Wonder if that's a record, tbh.
The West is so tough, it's absurd!
