I've had trouble with him before. He's always been a little dicey. I didn't think he'd sign something like this, but, it's not like I trusted him any further than I could throw him. I remember him after 16, he was less than thrilled which I found fantastic to say the least.

He's becoming Pat Riley part 2 in the biggest market in the world. Players will flock there just as they have for Riley. Jackson's presence will keep 'Melo, Knicks will then pry Rondo away from Boston and when Amare comes off the books in 2015...they use that cap space to sign KLove. Knicks big 3 will be 'Melo/Rondo/Love with Jackson returning to coach like Riley did for DWade and Shaq after assembling the team.

With the new CBA, you can't just sign big FA. They would be limited to one of the MLE most likely if they have Melo and Rondo under contract. It is a new era...
