Yannow...I've kicked it around in my head all day long...because this is an important and potentially life changing decision....
When I first started this poll I exected it to be a heavyweight fight and I expected Simpson to be just too strong for ole Cate......I mean Jessica Simpson has stepped up her game lately, she's been working, she is bringing it, and she has my attention. She also has 25 years of improved production, photography and cosmetic standards behind her...not to mention probably a 150 million dollar budget.
Sportcapmper said something that caught my eye and I got something different out of the point he made than he was expecting....
Catherine Bach invented that look and when they call those shorts Daisy Dukes it is a tribute to her.
When you are dealing with two powerhouses like these, the questions must ask yourself...
1.Which one makes you want to throw her in the hay and get down business.
2.Which one looks like they'd actually like it in the hay.
Now while Jessica is a force to be reckoned with in that Pink Bikini(and you guys that don't think she has an ass need to take a closer look)....and while I think Catherine Bach is being seriously under-rated by the forum in the rack department...because she is no slouch there...
What it all boils down to is this:
Round 1
Catherine Bach's looks make me want to put her in the hay, and more importantly she looks like she'd be willing to do it..and she might even look sexier if she was laying in hay.

Look at those ing legs on Catherine Bach. Is there an end to them? Look at that ass. And it's not like she's flat chested...she's got a great rack there and she's got that great 70's Breck Girl hair also.
As Sportscamper mentioned...They call those Daisy Dukes because of Catherine Bach...it's 20 years later and they probably spent a million dollars on Jessica trying to recapture that look of Catherine Bach in those shorts...I bet you those shorts are hand sewn by an entire team of people to bring out the absolute best in Jessica's ass...
And it's not even ing close, she can't wear those shorts as low cut as Catherine Bach...and those shorts Bach is wearing, her whole wardrobe, look like someone just went into K-Mart and bought them for her...And she doesn't even look like she has much makeup on in some of those pictures other than eyeshadow(always a key when going for that trailer park look).
Jessica is working hard and she is very glamourous...it's close when you put her in the bikini and get her all soaped up(I want to put her up against the Car Wash girl in Cool Hand Luke)
But she shouldn't have even tried going up against Catherine Bach in shorts. She does not look as pretty or sexy when she's going up against Catherine Bach in shorts...and Bach's sky high legs make her something to behold in her bikini as well, even without suds and a beautiful car prop.
IMO...the winner and still champeen:
Face it....the way those shorts rode up Catherine Bach's ass was a gift to all mankind. A gift that keeps on giving up to this very day.
Catherine Bach is the one who put the Daisy Duke in the Daisy Dukes. If you had stuck Jessica Simpson in those shorts 25 years ago I don't think they'd be as icnonic as they are now. I know they wouldn't.
Catherine Bach...the original Daisy...because you just can't beat a classic...and an icon.
