If the dude would just put on some muscle and dunk that he would be a beast.
He wasn't born with coonlike jumping ability nor long arms.
Splits played over 20 minutes a game in 11 of the Spurs 2013 Championship run. 19 minutes in two others.
Oh that's right, it didn't end in a Championship in Game 6.(need a Turnobili icon also)
Point is, no way you can suck and play that many minutes on a team that was good enough to win the 'ship.
Yes it's frustrating when he doe not go up strong. But not always. Sometimes he makes the right choice to pull it back down rather then get blocked. Did an excellent job of that on a key hoop today. Got a couple Mavs up in the air then hooped it.
Superb defensive postioning. Also moves well without the ball.
Return to Championship Winning Tall Balls alongside a healthy Timmy Dunks is what Splits has provided.
If the dude would just put on some muscle and dunk that he would be a beast.
Tiago can dunk ok he just needs to get pissed off before he will. The bigs for the Mav's don't push
him around like other bigs like on OKC. I noticed Blair only played a few minutes and Tim made him his
with runs at the basket right over top of him. Back to Tiago and that sling hook he throws up about 4ft out.
I wish Chip would work with him on that shot. Till now it's a low% shot for him. It looks like he just slings
the ball up and it's a hail Mary............
Tiago would do some volleyball training, field & track or even ballet training to gain some elevation. He jumps like a 60 year old.
Tiago has good hands for a big his arms and legs, not so much
He did miss the easy lay in but you can watch him on camera the entire way to get back on D
Switched and for 1 play guarded Harris better than anyone else at any other point in the game
You can miss shots even with better skill (Dirk & TD both missed gimmies) but most of defense is effort n he had it where we needed it
This was an expected result. He plays traditional or moderately athletic bigs really well. This is not the series where I expect him to struggle.
Wright and Dalenbert did go over on top of his head from behind a few time..Guess what no calls. Tiago matches
up well with some of the bigs who played across from Tim talent wise. He is not a thug and that's OK because they
foul out of games.
Perkins and Ayers are by far the worst bigmen at catching a ball. Its like you have to literally hand off to give them a shot at catching it. Splitters hands aren't bad.
-Splitter has a 7'2 wing span and is listed at 6'11.
-Being athletic isn't exclusive to black people.
-Nice to see 1800's racial slurs making a comeback...

Splitter has great hands, don't know what you have been watching..
you can't dunk if you get the ball under the rim and you're not moving... Unless you're shaq of course..
Finishing, yes: catching, no.
"I waved to a friend the other day and I accidentally blocked Splitter."
I heard that the other day. I think it's gonna be a thing

Ti-ay-go, Splittah *Stephen A. Smith voice*
Splitter has been the best Spur in this series IMO, he played great today, and it shouldn't be ignored just because the Spurs lost..
I don't know why he only played 29 minutes tonight, especially considering he was killing Nowitzki on the pick&roll with Manu, tbh..
Nothing about this series makes sense. Spurs just suck.
Probably one of Splitter's best games
Props to Splitter, tbh. I hope Diaw stops being a lazy fatass and contribute. The same goes for the other players struggling.
FirstroundMVP
tbh..
Splitter just edged Manu in the lead for 1st Rd MVP, imo.
