The Blazers will sweep the Spurs. The only advantage San Antonio has is their bench and that's not that important in the playoffs. I don't see anyway the Spurs can keep up with us.
no one on the blazers can match up with diaw
diaw needs to be aggressive this series if the spurs are going to advance....
There always seems to be some kind of boy band NBA team who's up and coming. A dozen years ago it was the Kings and Mavs. Then it was Nash's Suns in the middle of the decade. Last year it was the Warriors. This year it's the Blazers. Capable of making some noise but in the end just another team to be shut up. Spurs in 6.

While I agree with this...the blazers were playing against a Houston team that plays one on one defense and had no real scheme. I know the blasters have been successful against the spurs in recent regular season mach ups, but they're about to find out what it's like to go up against a veteran team that doesn't get rattled in the playoffs.
The Dallas match up was a perfect setup for this series. Not only did it wake them up, they had to deal with a shooting big and quick guard. If pop uses green on lillaird, like he should, I see the spurs taking this in six, with two blowouts (one for each), and four really tough games.
Spurs in 5. Pop isn't an idiot and will make the right assignments.
The beginning part of this thread is confusing. I guess two different threads got merged
two completely different topics merged
I just got told by some Blazer fan that Lopez is going to match Duncan's production in this series. They also seem to think LA and Duncan will guard each other exclusively.
Lopez has improved..he'll give Duncan fits, tbh..I wouldn't go so far as to say he'd match Duncan's production, though..
They seem to think his 10 foot hook shot is more reliable than anything Duncan can throw out. I know we all have a bit of homer in us, but really?
I'm thinking about joining sportstwo tbh as a troll though
Spurs win big in game one, barely win game 2, get blown out in game 3, win game 4, and close out back in Sa. Spurs in 5 tbqh.
The first two games are 2:35AM, even though they are in SA, bit unfortunate. Games 3 and 4 are 3:35AM, so I'll be taking a pass on watching this series live!
He'll be the only one that's right come next week.![]()
