    And some people think KG has more heart than him. KG flaming out of the playoffs averaging 5 ppg against the Heat and Duncan is still going strong.

    His defense was crucial. That's why you don't sit him down. Why did WB miss so badly? TD contested it. Same thing with the Durant 3. He was all over the court defensively.

    Reminds me of the 3rd qtr of game 7 against the Pistons in 05. Tim literally willed them to victory in that one.

    The head-scratching thing about this series was Brooks' decision to going away from attacking Duncan on the PnR. They fell in love with the 1/3 and 3/4 PnRs, but they allowed Tim to live in the lane as a result. Not only did that give Duncan more energy on offense, but it also allowed him to play to his strengths on defense. Really, really strange strategy there.

    That said, hats off to Duncan. OMR really got it done tonight.
