sigh… only here you can find bitterness after a great performance of one of our iconic players in a clinching game. Did Gino stole the girl of that Diaz character?

Isn't it odd how all the Manu haters conveniently disappear when Manu does great, but let him sneeze the wrong way just once and they are all over him like flies on a corpse.
They are nothing less than maggots IMHO.

Manu's performance stat-wise was less stellar in this game than in game 5, but I don't think we win either one without him. Lots of folks were concerned after game 5 because last year he had a terrific game 5 followed by games with poorer performances.

This year, Manu generally has played much more within himself all season long, and did so in last night's game also.

While it is true that his age etc. means that it is harder for him to put together back-to-back star performances, there is no way we won last night's game without him, imo.

In fact, when he got his third foul with 1:49 left in the second quarter and Pop sat him, I said to my husband "Oh, no - they are going to go on a run because we just lost Ginobili". And they (the Thunder) promptly scored another 5 points while we scored 0 before the half, putting them up 7.

Ginobili is smarter than anyone else on the court, almost all the time. Not always the best judgement, but that judgement is better this year than last.

I ALWAYS want Manu on the court at the end of half times and at the end of games.

We can play without Parker (at least for short stretches) better than we can play without Manu. Manu's leadership is unparalleled, and that includes Duncan's leadership.

If these guys were okc fans, they'd be ripping Durant for his 7 TO and the slip at the end of regulation, and going scoreless in OT. They'd be crucifying Westbrook for his 7 TO and terrible shot selection And fg%. Even great players up, but front running gots are only interested in results. When the results are good and they are still ing, then we're talking trolls, dont feed them and they'll be forced to go look elsewhere for the attention mom and dad aren't giving them.

Yes, they are well known trolls, that is for sure, but we can at least bash and laugh at them for being so stupid and ignorant.

He has been great all season, he struggled against Portland but we didn't really need him at all there. It's so great seeing one of my 2 favorite players of all time rejuvinated and still able to come out clutch in huge games.

[QUOTE=Diego20;7380999]He also made a layup that was illegally blocked by Ibaka (goaltending). We would have won without the overtime with that layup.

That is a FACT! Thank you Diego! Ginoblili is fearless! BOOM!

Some people just can't stand it that the Spurs win or lose as a TEAM.
And they don't make excuses or blame any particular person.
Unlike SOME of their ungrateful fans.

imo, Skull-1's probably just a recent Spurs band wagoner who's on Leonard's jockstrap and has no sense of Manu's accomplishments and accolades throughout his career with the Spurs. I wouldn't be surprised, given that's pretty much the situation with half the people on this board anyways

Was A Spur fan before you were born, junior. Been a Manu fan from the day he stepped on an NBA court. But I don't let my liking a player blind me to when he plays like sh-t, and Manu has been playing like sh-t for awhile now, with mild flashes of brilliance here and there. I don't trust him any more. Suck on that, homer crybaby.

    humorous post of the year.

I own own more Manu jersies than all the others combined. My custom jersies are all #20. The way he played last year made me regret that decision. I hooked people on the game saying, "Watch Manu. He is brilliant." Then he wet himself. Played like a drunken man. Those same people wondered why I made such a fuss over an inept player....

I don't give two f--ks what you think. The fact that these idiotic homers suck the guy off even when he is terrible is the humor, not anything I have said as a reasonable, intelligent, OBJECTIVE fan.

If you really believe what you just said, then you are the one who's blind. You are exactly what you critize from others, because Manu's not playing like .... for a while now

But, I highly doubt any of that is true, you have to be a liar, you don't have manu jerseys, probably not even Spurs' jerseys, I mean, you would have to be one of a blind dumb if you do and fail to realize Manu's always given this team 110% when he is out there and, more often than not, actually, he delivered, he contributed. There was probably no finals last year without him in the first place, just as there wouldn't be any this year if he'd walked away. So, you gotta be just re edly blind.

But, anyway. This is the only message I'll write to you here. Because, since I know you are a piece of , I know you'll just try to drag this conversation for ever, whether because of your arrogance, your blindness, or because you are a troll. Either way, you are still a piece of .
