Kawhi... but I bet Timmy gets it.
If Kawhi has another defensive showing like tonight, how does he not win it?
Kawhi... but I bet Timmy gets it.
Boris..... and it's not even close.
Timmy wins the MVP for his contributions on and off the floor...
Duncan or Kahwi...
Give it to Popovich if possible.
Masterpiece coaching from the Portland series onward took 2 games to figure out OKC though. I'm speechless.
After tonight, if the Spurs win it'll be Kawhi. Diaw is also a huge contender, but I think Kawhi is the sexier pick.
At the moment it has to be Kawhi.
Still hoping Timmy gets it.
No actually I just want one more effing win!

It will go to Leonard, at this point. The media is starting to hype him up. It won't surprise me if he gets it.
Get that last win, Spurs.
Parker: 18.5 ppg, 0.3 rpg, 5.3 apg, 1.0 spg, 0.0 bpg, 50.9 fg%
Kawhi: 16.8 ppg, 5.5 rpg, 2.0 apg, 1.8 spg, 1.3 bpg, 59.0 fg%
Duncan: 15.8 ppg, 10.5 rpg, 2.0 apg, 0.5 spg, 0.8 bpg, 58.5 fg%
Boris: 6.5 ppg, 7.25 rpg, 5.75 apg, 0.75 spg, 0.25 bpg, 38 fg%
Green: 13.75 ppg, 2,75 rpg, 1.0 apg, 2.0 spg, 0.5 bpg, 62.5 fg%
Manu: 15.0 ppg, 3.0 rpg, 5 apg, 1.25 apg, 1.25 spg, 0.5 bpg, 48.8 fg%
Can't guarantee there's no mistake
Tony fighting for that finals MVP even off court.
Barkley: "Tell me something about that guy: Kawhi Leonard."
Tony: "I don't know where the he was the first two games."
TDMVPDPOY get in here son![]()
kawhi. tony better not go into hero mode next game to snatch it from him either. anyways, anybody got a gif of kawhi's putback dunk???
If we win on Sunday and he plays at least solid it has to be Leonard. His play the last two games has been the biggest difference on both ends the floor so as long as he plays well in game five it belongs to him
Historically, it ALWAYS has.
Right now its:
Parker: 74 (also has 1 rebound, 21 assists, 51% FG%. also has 4 steals.
Kawhi: 67 (also has 22 boards, 8 assists, 59% FG%, also 7 steals and 5 blocks)
Duncan: 63 (also has 41 boards, 8 assists, 66% FG%, also 2 steals and 2 blocks)
Diaw: 26 (also has 34 boards, 23 assists, 3 steals and a block)
But imo Kawhi and Duncan are leading, then Parker. But Diaw has been GREAT so I added his stats too.
Btw interesting stat: In games 1, 2, and 4, Parker is exactly 8/15 from the field. Incredible consistency.
I would say whoever does better in game 5; Kawhi or Duncan, will take it home.
If the series ended tonight, the MVP would be Tim Duncan or Kawhi Leonard. We'll see who shines in Game 5.
Manu has to be in discussion. Unlike Kawhi, Manu hasn't slowed down. Games 1-2 Kawhi was a no show. Parker takes it
As of now
Duncan (double double average plus legacy)
Diaw (+60 +/-)
Parker (very solid, if unspectacular)
Leonard (back to back stellar performances, the narrative as our future could help his case)
They should just make sure it's a 6 way tie.
Give it to Diaw just for the of it
Everyone should just share it tbh. From Duncan to Daye.
Leonard probably has a slight lead over Timmy and Tony. Boris a dark horse.
Hope Tony doesn't go "hero ball" next game to try and clinch MVP. Doubt he would, but he was snarky with Green last year...
Its funny now everyone is charming in on the thread Now! All yal saying it's to early. Muthasuckas feel like yal can breathe now. I had faith in us from jump!
Parker wants it bad..... dude's launching threes like there's no tomorrow. Hope NBA gives it to a real contributor, not this stat padding mofo.
I think the NBA will just give it to Kawhi, it would confirm as a "superstar" in this league, which is great for the NBA considering he is only 22 years old. It will validate him basically, (not that he really needs validation) but ya get the point.
