Client ting on Bosh and saving the game down 16 more than completely erases 8
I'll happily eat crow tbqh. I was one of the biggest detractors when he got his new deal because he just looked flat out done last year. He was a net negative in the playoffs last year overall and played a key part in the 6 debacle.
But, he was a ing beast tonight and really since the playoffs began. He played intelligent, aggressive ball for long stretches and keyed some big momentum swings with BIG 3s. His aggressiveness tonight, culminating with the flush was a thing of beauty.
To all you Manu s and to the man himself, I apologize for not believing...thinking he was done physically, thinking there's no way he'd come back mentally, and thinking he took advantage of the Spurs' loyalty with that contract.
I will never again doubt. Cheers to a truly great compe or and player. He came bavk from the dead to help deliver 5. God bless Manu Ginobili.

I was mad last season at Manu, no doubt. I was more mad when he signed his contract. But man, he came out and played so much better. Manu is one of the greatest of all time. I'm glad he's going to be a Spur for life. One of the big reasons the Spurs were better this year was because Manu was better. The guy is amazing.
i can't hide my true feelings with an avy like that
When Ginobili's healthy, dude is just unstoppable. Kept us alive in the Mavs series. Closed out the Thunder on their homecourt. 2013 is forgiven as far as I'm concerned. Incredible comeback year for him.
I think Manu tied Kobe as the player with the 3rd most amount of 3's in the playoffs. I can't find that ing thread with the list.
You're right. I was hoping he'd hit another three tonight so he could pass up Kirby. List is here:

We already know TP's gonna rest this offseason. Hopefully Manu follows suit and opts not to play for the national team. That way, we'll have a fully rested Big 3 come next season and will be a legitimate threat for a repeat.
28 to catch Miller. Pretty damn doable.
I would have awarded Manu the mvp of the series. Leonard may have been the most consustent player in the series but without Manu's legendary 1st quarter performance tonight the spurs likely would have never fought out of that 22-6 hole they were dug into and it is very likely they lose that game and from there who knows what could have happened with momentum turning to the heat's favor.
GINOOOOOOOOOOBILI!!!! The dude is the man. He IS the reason the Spurs turned it around before it began to get ugly. Leonard deserves the Finals MVP, but man, Manu is a close damn second place.
A repeat is the only thing that hasxeluded thd spurs all these years. Somd say you aren't as real champion until you've defended a le. That should provide somd extra motivation fo4 next season.
MAH MANUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!
It's possible. Manu hit 41 threes in these playoffs. I don't think he'll ever have that much again but, assuming Spurs go on another deep run, I could see him making anywhere between 25 and 30 threes. Over his 11 year playoff career, Manu averages 26 threes per post-season. Pretty close to that 28 number to catch Miller.
Manu was great, I need that awesome dunk in a gif.
Oops its on page one![]()
We're partying till Monday noon, non-stop!
