Baseball (maybe?) forever lost me with the steroid era. I was already kind of pissed my favorite player, Doc Gooden, threw his career away with all the coke, but then seeing McGwire, Clemens, and Bonds forever tarnish what would have been 3 of the greatest careers of all-time without the drugs was the last straw. I can't love it again until they get a real commissioner.

Probably so, but seeing Maris' and Aaron's records fall and seeing such bull stats that basically put an enormous asterisk on an entire generation of star players really turns me off from the game. It pisses me off that Selig doesn't get any of the blame when he refused to test any of the players for so long. And I don't buy the MLB all of a sudden being clean. Pujols looked like Babe Ruth in St Louis and now he's Dave Kingman in Anaheim?
