Im calling bull .
TAKE CARE OF PATTY!!!!
WHERE THE IS JKID!?
Can't help but take that as an insult. They have to put a disclaimer to avoid being confused for some of these clowns on this thread.
I got 3 words
CIA...Pop...BIYATCH!!
there is only 1 source. and its probably the worst source tbh.
Blessing in disguise? This should drive down his value in the open market and make it easier to keep him.
Kind of makes his playoff run even more impressive...
So much over-reaction as usual.
He played through it during the season, now he'll get it fixed up and be ready for next season. What's the big deal?
I didn't start the game 6 thread I swear
Was this even confirmed? The original source seems sketchy.
That's a pretty good source, TTM.![]()
Well maybe thanks to the injury he was shooting better so if is not broken why fix it
CIAPOP so other teams wont pursue him and also to prevent him from playing in Australian's Bball team.
It might hurt his value around the league, but I am sure the Spurs will take care of him and keep him in the end.
Not sure if true Aussie media would be all over it if he was out for the wc
good news is, noone will want him, so we may get to keep him
In exile, d'uh!
ha!
lets see... he showed commitment to the team by playing a season while injured, in doing so he contributed well and continued to improve posting very good numbers. He was a GREAT team member who contributed to team harmony (frogging etc), never looked like he would get into trouble and has a great public persona. He was consistent, showed good decision making skills, got the trust and green light to shoot from the most respected coach in the NBA and is clearly trusted by his team mates. Then come finals time he had great games, played decent defense and looked the consummate team player.
So you reckon no one will overlook the injury?
No, Patty had an undisclosed shoulder injury 12-13 season. That is why he sat out for about 20 games or so. This year, he just played with a tape on his shoulder most of the season.
He will still get paid by the Spurs. But with this injury, he probably won't get a 5-7+ mil contract by any team. Which pretty much ensures that the Spurs will match and retain Patty.
