Completely agree, put Wiggins on Chuckbrook and he should do an ok job. Lebron can destroy Durant 1 on 1... Really winnable... The main problem is Verajao being so fragile...
I see you baam. This is a really big point. I was wondering about it when i heard about the Zeller and Jack salary dump. I take it all as proof that the cavs are all in on trading for Love. And it's a bad move by their FO.

    Irving/ Della
    Waiters
    Wiggins/ Felix
    Bron/ Bennett
    Thompson/ Varajao

Zeller, Jack, and a Turner makes that roster absolutely terrifying. Love makes me confident the spurs repeat.

Waiters just tweeted he's not open to being benched. Assuming LeBron starts at PF/F and Wiggins starts at SF, they're benching Thompson AND Bennett. Kind of makes no sense. Seems like a waste of potential to bench Wiggins too.

Probability much lower now that Cavs stupidly aren't willing to deal Wiggins. Dude has bust written all over him already. Being outperformed by the real star of the draft (Jabari Parker) and random 2nd rounders.

Wiggins = Shaun Livingston with less court vision

And you guys are massively underrating Kevin Love. Put him on a real team (a team without the Mustang Rubio) and he would beast every night. Like a fat white Bill Russell.

(Mustang = all show, no go)

Getting Love means giving up Wiggins in exchange, and that's a trade the Cavs would be really dumb to make.

If you guys are saying Wiggins will develop into some defensive stud, those skill sets are much easier to come by than skilled big men (Love) in today's NBA. That is, even if Wiggins does fill out and develop. I don't see it, personally. He doesn't look like he wants it at all. He just looks like some rangey, athlete with no NBA-level ball skills (a lot like the Spurs draft pick). I would take a guy with a little less physical attributes and more heart and desire any day (like Jabari Parker or the Lakers' pick, Randle). At least those guys play physical and show more effort and don't try to look "smooth" all the time.

Smooth players in the NBA, with all style points:

    Josh Smith
    Durant
    Joe Johnson
    Curry
    Wade
    Aldridge
    etc

Players with heart and less emphasis on style:

    LeBron
    ZBo
    Fat Gasol
    Lillard
    Pierce
    Nowitzki
    Duncan

    both:
    Kobe

similarities among the style group: no rings (Wade no rings lately, just when he's doing all those pump fakes and spin moves n ).

What I can't believe is that Love is even still available. WTF are Kerr/West thinking? They have 3 wings who can all defend in Iggy, Green and Barnes, so you trade Lee and Thompson for Love in a heartbeat, especially as they have a strong defensive centre next to him in Bogut. Want another shooter, throw in Barnes for Waiters, who has talent but Cavs have to dump as he is ball-dominant and doesn't fit with Irving and LBJ. He might be an explosive 6th man for the Dubs though.

I'm stunned they haven't pulled the trigger on Lee and Thompson for Love. Its a no-brainer.
