if you like 'melodic metal' (i haaaate genre's but it is the best way to describe it) then download some Blind Guardian

They're this german band who play metal music but incorporate some good songwriting into it, keeping a general medeival/adventure theme....they write a bunch of their songs about the Middle Earth and knights and like that
it sounds gay in type, but check them out you may be surprised....i saw them in The Backroom here in Austin back on Thanksgiving of 2002 and they ing ROCKED!!~~

And check out a closely related band in the same "genre"--Demons and Wizards
this band features half of Blind Guardian and half of their clone band Iced Earth....its the same type of music but twice as better....the entire album is off the heeze for cheeze....download the entire album Demons and Wizards "Demons and Wizards"

The Killers' new album "Sam's Town", which so far, is just okay. And that disappoints me because I'm a fan. There's 4/5 solid tracks but the rest is just kind of bad. I'm still in love with Brandon Flowers, though.
