I did the India IP trick last year and got ILP on the cheap but Ballstreams looks even cheaper. I've seen a few posts online about audio sync issues (which would suck).

Does anyone have first hand experience with Ballstreams they can share? Specifically video / audio quality and home / away audio options details would be fantastico.

NBA League pass for the 2014-15 season has just become available.
The Australian price is $248.99 for the standard subscription and $302.99 for the premium subscription.
Using an overseas proxies reduces the price down to a more realistic point compared to the amazingly inflated price us aussies face.
Last year i used a Indian proxy and it worked really well and i had no problems or security issues.

The method i used is as follows:

1. go to http://proxylist.hidemyass.com/ and find a suitable proxy with good speed and connection strengh
2. input the proxy into your computer, i had to use a proxy for HTTP and HTTPS as the website uses both through the signing up process.
3. reset your browser and go to nba.com/leaguepass. Sign up and pay, i used my credit card and used my personal address as the biling address.
4. once your account is set up remove the proxy settings log into your account and change your password just to be safe.

Enjoy. You can use the service on computers/phones/tablets/xbox/ps/appletv

I recommend ballstreams tho. much cheaper, and the choice to freeze yr account when there isnt games.

I got a 1-month subscription to ballstreams to check it out, and I have to say, I'm impressed. I'm planning on ditching NBALP for the first time in a dozen years, and upgrading my internet speed so that i won't have choppiness issues. There's even a Ballstreams Roku channel, and the website will work on an iPad too.
