They are strong but they are still feminine. Mauresmo was the she man. I never like Hingis though. She was a .
I miss Martina too!!! She was a bad ass! She was my favorite women's tennis player ever. I'll tell you who I can't stand are those SheMEN Venus and Serena. I think Serena should play in the men's circuit, her body is about as close as you can come to a guy's. I feel bad for Taylor Dent. Poor guy is 0-8 with top seeded players. I say Federer and Sharapova come away with wins for the le. GO MARIA!

Hey yall on USA they've got the Venus-Clijsters match on!! They're in the 3rd set. Did yall know that Clijsters and Hewitt were engaged not too long ago?
I was hoping for Venus but Clijsters is on fire right now. She should win the tournament.
damn Clijsters has improved over the past 3 or so years. she ing RULED venus tonight. Perhaps the gap between the Williams sisters and the World is closing. Just wait til my girl Serena gets back to 100% though.
Sharapova has also improved like no other
i could not believe she was the no. 1 seed! She played like it tonight though....womens tennis is at a peak right now
theres ALOT of talent these days
... its not that clijsters has improved or anything... the girl was number 1 in the world several years ago. she has just been really unlucky with injuries and stuff
martina hingis is a fine chick! too bad she chickened out of compe ive tennis...
the tennis world needs her...
clijester is awesome, she is in the top 10 of the world and she doesnt have a grand slam under her belt. it is her time to shine, she deserves it. Venus wasnt up to her game either, they havent barely played this year.
clijester vs sharapova is going to be an amazing match. two women who, this year alone, have mastered their talent. Clijester, I believe, will take it. She is in top-shape, so is Sharapova, but did ya'll see the flexibility and dedication in todays game it was amazing.

she has improved
rankings aside, i've seen her injury less get rocked in some tournaments...im not a very astute tennis fan so i couldn't tell you which year/tournament, but i used to watch for like 2 or 3 years straight, and have only been watching results for hte past year and a half or so
BTW why did Hingis shy away from professional tennis?
i see her now and again playing in like sub-par tennis circuits, playing with teams and like that
wtf is up with that
Agassi beats Blake in an incredible match that ended in a tie-breaker. One of the greatest matches I've ever seen. Agassi was down 2 sets before he made his comeback.
I'm speechless, this looks like the agassi from the 90s
agassi is like bruce willis in die hard
Yeah Blake served for the match and lost his serve. Agassi looked like he was going to lose in the tiebreaker also down 3-0. Unbelievable.
god i missed that match...
i attended a class etc etc and i got hooked up on a basketball game...
That was definetly one of the best matches I have ever seen. It reminded me of tennis back in the day when you had guys like Connors,McEnroe,Lendel,Borg,Becker etc etc. You used to see great compelling matchups all the time, where as now there doesn't seem to be that great level of compe ion.
Hingis had/has some kind of degenerative injury in her ankles I think that caused her to retire.
