Nobody is going to trade for an aging PG with a ton of mileage that no longer impacts a game on a consistent basis, tbh..

I wouldn't want to trade TP, tbh..he gives the Spurs more production than anything they would potentially receive for him in a trade..

Pop signed a 3 year deal last season, IIRC... he'll stick around.

Fatty Patty is a bench player. That is his role. He cannot play with that type of intensity for 30-35 mins.

joking aside, Parker's decline is really worrisome considering he just signed a 3 year max extension that doesn't even kick in until next season

It worries me because he is usually good in the regular season

Now that he sucks in the regular season, his season is pretty much over

yep, agree with you and lefty, i am genuinely concerned about a decline, said that during the game. this is usually MVParker time, Enrique comes later.
maybe it's just a slow start since taking the summer off. i hope.

Did TP9 bang a bunch of posters' wives?
No just Brent Barry's. The truth about his baggishness became kinda undeniable after that situation came out. Whether he actually got to hit it or not, the fact is that he tried to. He's still family, but he's definitely starting to be seen as that one uncle, especially with his public, off-hand "we aren't winning a championship" comments over the past 3-4 years. He's the least Spur-like Spur and so we have to razz him a little bit, because that is deserved, but it's REALLY the Mrs. Barry thing. If you look deep enough, most TP hate goes back to that.

He really threatened to destroy the culture of the Spurs over some tired, married milf-pussy.

No the TP hate has everything to do with the Manu rivalry originally "why doesn't he pass to Manu ".

These guys don't have to try tho, they get hit on, you don't get it... Even Eva was clearly the one who hit on Parker and wanted to meet him... Maybe he shouldn't have answered her texts but this is really blown out of proportion...

Actually he didn't play all that bad in this game.. His penetration and shooting still going for him.. and 5 assists in 27 minutes of play

i know, he was actually playing well before his exit. i'm speaking generally, though.

    - parker was terrific in the 2011-2012 season but sorta fell off in the playoffs after game 2 against OKC

    - parker was at his absolute best in 2012-2013. his finals was on/off, but there was the injury card. he had a good game 5 and had an overall poor game 6 (outside of the 2 big shots) and an invisible game 7

    - he was still a good player last year, but wasn't as good as he was in either of the previous 2, imo. the stats might say he was, but anybody watching could tell, and we assumed he was slowed because of being worn down from long playoff runs + international ball in the summers. outside of the portland series, he was statistically a net negative in the playoffs for us.

    - i was an optimist going into this year, thinking the summer off would leave him fresh, and hoping he'd revert to at least 2011-2012 form, but so far he just looks like he did last year. that's still good enough to make him one of the best at his position, and fortunately because of our deep we are, we aren't relying him to be MVParker, but i dont see him returning to his 2011-2012 or 2012-2013 form... im just hoping his decline isn't rapid, because we are on the hook for 3 more seasons with a pretty hefty salary

he gives up and quits when the going gets tough... game 7 vs miami, game 6 vs okc, etc. its not his fault though, its his country's culture

And at this thread. It's ing December, the guy has 4 rings, and just gave us a hometown discount on his services for the next few years. Dude could've gotten a near-max contract for his final big payday if he wanted, but unselfishly inked his name to SA without fanfare.
