I've lost complete trust in Manu shooting FTs in crunch time. I just don't get his decline in that area. You could bring out a crippled old Nash and he'd still hit his freebies.

I never called him the best shooter in the world, but he can shoot the daylights out of the ball. Obviously he has a poor shooting percentage bc he 1. takes too many shots and 2. doesn't take good shots. If he was on the Spurs he'd have good percentages.

He had "mishaps" because he had the balls to take the reins... it was him and TD out there trying to win the game. What you're gonna do, give it to Bonner or Cojo? Cojo was passing shots in OT. He's just a kid.
His mishaps were unforced, though. Missed FT and then a late TO.

I'm not hating too much. Manu redeemed himself in last year's real season. But this splitting the FT is getting highly annoying.

He got to the line because he was one of the few that actually attacking the basket. He made the FT that sent the game to OT, after hitting back to back 3s...

I mean, he's not the guy you want to be the sole option for closing out games, but it's not like we had a choice.

They have tough stretch coming up too though where they could easily lose 8 or 9 of their next 10 games.

KA was actually playing well and then in the 2nd half he scored an "own goal" and was immediately replaced by Bonner/Belli, never to be seen again.

Yeah..that's what I thought. It saddens me that I can't even remember our starting PG even being in the game down the stretch.

Pop should give Cojo the start next game just to further remind Parker his status doesn't mean when he's playing as bad as he has been lately

Yeah, and his balls started to show a semblance of dropping into the sack tonight too

I think Tony was on minute restriction, coming from an injury. At least, I'd like to think that's why he didn't play in crunchtime

His movements are very Diaw-esque. Slow and deliberate. I don't think there's been a player as slow and deliberate as him in a while. Everyhing is fast fast fast now.

I don't care if it's Ray Allen, AK47, or Earl ing Clark. I want to watch players that give a and want to be on the court and put the ball through the hoop. Watching TD, Green and Manu have to carry these heads that don't feel like playing on certain nights is so frustrating. They should fine cojo every time he passes up an open shot to take one dribble then hand it off to Bonner. And I can't believe beli on nick young didn't work.

I think Pop wanted to win this game, bad coaching decisions and all. Not letting him play a couple of minutes in the end when we needed to generate some scoring was another bad coaching decision. Parker would have came through with one of those 3 point attempts with the way he's been shooting from long range, IMO.

On the bright side, a boost of confidence for Corey. I hope he can maintain his improvement this year, a "backup PG controversy" (if you can even call it that with Patty) would definitely be a good thing for the Spurs.

Dude you cannot say manu carried us.. lol mother ing manu killed everything every time he was in until he made a few 3s at the end... ing kirby style efficiency tbh

Pop is an asshole(or evil genius). I think he discovered Kyle Anderson as a triple double threat and decided to pocket that . lol Same with Kawhi.
