    I don't want Shanahan, he's a lot like Singletary, that old....die for football...which doesn't work with these young guys today. No way he'd get along with Kaepernick, two totally different personalties there.

    We are looking at wade Philips today. Huge upgrade from haslet. Pretty much the norv turner of DC's. Great coordinator but a head coach

    The Raiders have been in contact with former 49ers and Seahawks personnel director Scott Mcloughan for a front office role, and current "GM" reggie McKenzie was not present for Jack Del Rio's head coaching interview.

    To clarify: Mark Davis asked McCloughan to come back and work under Reggie. McCloughan declined. He wanted to run football dept., or nothing

    goddamit... McLoughan is the best candidate out there to be a GM imo, and McKenzie's home run draft last year is going to save his job even though he's been garbage in free agency and the two prior drafts

    I'm shocked that Snyder gave him complete control of player personnel, and Bruce Allen said it you can my position and I will go back to kissing babies, and making numbers work with contracts which is he is good at. I'm excited about this move hopefully we will be good in two years at least. A lot of mess to clean up.

    After losing Gus, I'm not too concerned about this. I think we'll either promote within, or find someone who'll slide right in. We pretty much run the same scheme all the time anyways so losing a DC is something I don't worry about.
