If by "him," you mean Speedy Claxton, Kerr, Beno, CoJo, and MVPatty
2003 - Got bailed out by Kerr in the WCF and Claxton in the finals. And let's not forget the Marbury spanking in the Phx series.
2005 - Fat Billups & Rip went off on the Spurs when Parker guarded them. I remember Bowen working his ass off switching back and forth during that finals. I also remember Antonio Daniels ting all over Parker in that Sonics series. Damn glad Manu & Tim put them away.
2007 - The only playoff run in which Parker didn't choke and run out of gas.
2014 - Bailed out by Patty in the OKC series and the finals.

It would take a Finals appearance for the Hawks to actually sell out their arena.

They don't have star power, and they need to have "that guy" to take over in the playoffs. Sorry, but Teague/Korver isn't going to cut it against LeBron, or the Bulls imo.
    truth bombardier imo

good solid team. No championship calibre star to come through when its needed.

Just because he "knows" how to beat LeBron doesn't mean he can do it . I hate to break it to you guys, but LeBron could win that series by himself. The East literally has no depth or playoff experience, LeBron just has to look at the team in the playoffs for them to piss their pants. The only team that I think can take LeBron out come playoff team is Chicago. That is it. Not Toronto, not Washington, not Atlanta. Maybe Miami because they'd be so heated to play
Cleveland is a terrible defensive team, and Irving/Love would be making their first playoff appearances so it's unknown how they will perform under pressure. Only the Bulls would beat the Hawks IMO.

Nearly 4 sellouts in a row... Not impressive by a lot of teams standards, but it's progress. TV viewership is up 40% and attendence is up like 25%,

Teague is averaging 6.1 PPG in the 4th period... That's 6th best in the NBA.

Wouldn't mind seeing Atlanta win it all, they're an entertaining and well-coached team.

Unfortunately they're not going to beat any of the west contenders in a 7-game series

But such an amazing stretch for the Hawks. They started 6-6 and lost to the Lakers to begin with. Since then they are 23-2. They would be 24-1 if not for Tobias Harris hitting a fluke jumper to beat the Hawks.

Many of these so called contenders are not really contenders. Two of those being the Clippers and Dallas. Good teams, but not contenders. Dallas has not beat hardly anyone this year. They have a great record against mostly bad teams.
