Any way you look at it, 11 picks is two years is a great thing for a GM to have. It gives Ainge a whole bunch of options.
obviously, they weren't better without him...

good luck expecting defense out of brandan wright
Yeah, I'd be more inclined to agree that would be.
But it's not two years. It's four years. And again, it's not guaranteed, as some of those picks are conditional/protected and some can turn into second round picks.
I don't understand what in hollinger the Grizz are thinking giving up so much for Jeff ing Green
lol "Q-Pon"
puns for daysss
He's their new Rudy Gay, without the drama
Jeff Green isn't even half the player Rudy Gay is, tbh, and I say that as a hater of Gay's game..
Green is one of the most overrated players of my generation, I've been saying it for years..like many others, he gets really overrated because of the way he looks..he's tall, athletic and has a nice wingspan, so he "looks" better than he actually is..see: Chandler Parsons, Nic Batum, etc(although both of those players are better than him)..
Thank goodness Rivers is finally gone. Hated the draft pick from day one.
Pelicans win the trade by finally removing one of the worst players in NBA history from their roster..
I wonder how long the "Tom Rivers's son card" will allow him to remain on NBA rosters..
is Boston trying to get Tom Rivers back by trading for his son?

They finally get rid of rivers..
They should prioritize getting rid of evans tbh..A huge cancer and a detriment to the best player in the world.
Now even the Suns have strengthened their paint... when the are we gonna sign Jermaine, tbh?
Ainge setting up another coup to trade for a run. He traded all kinds of picks to get Garnett and Allen. He's not gonna sit on all these 1st rounders and wait for a rebuild,,,he's gonna use them for trade bait to land talent.
No he sucks.
He had one fluke series against the Spurs in the WCF (which got him paid imo) and since then he's been garbage.
I think the Grizzlies were hoping he would be a 3 and D guy for them, but he can't shoot and he's not a defensive stopper. TBH I don't think he excels at anything.
WTF! The Grizzlies gave up Quincy Pondexter and Tayshaun Prince. Two 3rd string caliber scrubs who wouldn't be rotation players on any Western Conference playoff team outside of Memphis. How was that giving up to much?
