Mine actually originates from my father, who, back in the early parts of the Vietnam conflict, when gringos and Christians In Action were operating in places they weren't said to be. The nom de plume denoted one who walks point. I carried it onto my time in the Corps and it stuck.

Way back when, in a fourm far far away I wanted to start posting. I had to register and when it asked for a screen name I couldn't think of anything. I was eating a breakfast Taco at the time so I picked Taco as my screen name
