BTW, the Tilapia don't eat the sewage. The algae is fertilized by the sewage and the fish eat the algae. It's called organic farming just like using manure on tomato plants. There is no credible science behind the "sewage" scare on tilapia as it doesn't transfer to the flesh of the fish. Now I am not saying they aren't subject to contamination by mishandling in processing but the flesh is fine when it is harvested.

Tilapia still sucks, though. It's just mealy and tasteless.
Bend over, I'll show you contamination by mishandling.

Many first impressions of fish are based off eating old stuff not properly handled imo.
Fresh fish of so many species can be quite good.

    Swordfish is my favorite.
Swordfish = Filet Mignon of the Ocean…Other than specialty stores like Omaha Steaks or fresh fish vendors you rarely see it anymore…

The other tragedy is Red Snapper…We caught those offshore when I was a kid…Today markets sell what he call red snapper but it looks like some cheap farm raised fish…Small filets and No red color whatsoever…

I just had swordfish a few days ago. Of course I'm currently just north of Boston on business and I think they catch swordfish in this area.

Orange Roughy is amazing. Zero bones and if made right melts in your mouth.

Not a good choice. The slimehead (orange roughy was a marketing name) population has pretty much been decimated by overfishing.

any farmed seafood is garbage, is fed garbage, or at least the animals would never find, eat in the wild.

Atlantic salmon is not returning in huge numbers to its Scottish rivers. they don't know why

etc, etc, etc. The oceans simply cannot feed the planet. Industrial fishing is destroying the fish stocks.

Yeah we caught a couple of nice yellowfin too. Pulled out the pocket knife and started cutting sushi slices out of the throat. Can't get any fresher than that.

That is an excellent price…Local So Cal Costco rarely has Swordfish anymore…Maybe two months of limited supply in the summer…Omaha steaks has Swordfish year round closer to $38.00 per pound on sale…
