Sounds like a five year deal, much better than two. And he'll be a much better salesman than Kobe telling LMA to just grab the rebound.

Agreed to the step 2 but hard to agreed to the 3 cause it's a mission impossible
No brainer. Kawhi could've screwed the Spurs but he's obviously a company guy.
would have to sign Aldridge first, then Kawhi!
curious but has the promise of LMA got you guys posting again? I never understood why you guys quit. I figured you either wanted to let your own creation wither or timp's post 6 meltdown was so epic that it warranted a hiatus.
So glad we got this kid locked up long term...
Future of the Franchise
Kawhi being there helps. All he has to say is that SA treats they're players well. They told KL to wait a year to sign the extension and kept their word. Why? They wanted tone able to surround him with the best team possible.
Nah. You're a hater. DPOY, FMVP (2nd youngest ever, btw). Two other players in NBA history (HOFers) have done that.
Well said
that's the point, the main point but unfortunately majority of the spurs fans here do not understand it
the future is now mah !!

Just now confirmed...
5-year, 90 million dollar deal.

This is essentially a message to the league: "I'm staying with the Spurs, don't bother to make an offer!" And those contract details to be worked out will mysteriously last until after all the FA's are signed to give the Spurs the most cap space.
There are million of spurs fans everywhere in China, Japan and South Korea i just wonder how come the spurs never visit these places ?? cause if Peter Holts visits China with the spurs (yea I know TP did ) then money is not an issue man, the cap is no longer in issue !!
Congrats to Leonard. Hard work and dedication rewarded.
Well said. He deserves it.
This.
Props to Kawhi and his family, Spurs etc....
"Four Rings..."![]()
I know. I know.
Also you said you love Jeremy, right? You're so good at judging talent...San Antonio should recruit you as international scout ASAP
Well, Tony Parker (and George Hill) were in China last week.
Can you tell us something about Parker's tour? He visited only Beijing or more cities?
He ate traditional chinese dishes? How was his chinese food experience? Photos?
You know, people here love to turn every thread in a Parker thread...
