    Lakers are in ing California, they have movie directors making customized features for their Free Agent targets, they're bringing Magic to meetings, they have Adam Levine recruiting for them, etc..banners in the city, too..all-out..it shouldn't be that difficult to entice players to come play in LA for a franchise with a prestigious background..something must be blocking them..

    Who have the Lakers got in free agency recently? Howard was a trade, as was Nash, and that was in 2012.
