Kawhi/LMA are going to be like Shaq/Kobe without the problems. A threepeat is guaranteed. I'm just joking but if the spurs can get just 1 le out of this duo it will be considered a success.

excited to see them play together
I have always been less than enthusiastic to see a Spur playing international ball, and I was not excited that Kawhi got an invite to join Team USA camp. But this is rather interesting and poignant. The symbolic passing of a torch. And more practically, an opportunity for our two Spurs representatives to bond some both on and off the court.

    LMA is huge. Legit size.
I've been saying this since for a long time. I don't know if it's because of the jump shooter reputation or what, but not a lot of people seem to realize that he's the exact same height as Splitter, only he has a longer wingspan and he's nearly 25 pounds heavier. The 240 listing is from when he entered the league and they listed him at 260 in the press release, but he said entering camp last year that he was 268 and that he was actually down a few pounds from where he had been.

Not a Team USA update but this was just uploaded. I remember watching this game live and the amazing game winner. Was the year we lost to LSU in the Elite Eight.

I'm not too happy about Kawhi putting on the muscle.

It just ends up slowing players down. Every wing guy who ever put weight eventually has to slim down, and the extra weight is just more for his knees to carry. He wasn't so slight that he was being punished down low, he was fine. He was scoring with power fine also. This extra weight could affect his speed, but also his nimble feet and agility.

Alright, what I want to actually know, and I've been wondering this most of the off-season - Did Kawhi end up working with Tim Grover? I read that he wanted to work with him during the 2014 off-season, but for whatever reason it didn't happen. Anyone know if he did this off-season?

He's probably gonna cut down most of the weight by the time the season starts imo

That blue team is really weak.

Griffin, Leonard, Boogie and Thompson in the same team.

Why are players like watson and affalo playing? they're not part of the 34 roster..

Kawhi is definitely honing a Lebronesque built + MJ's swagger (see the chewing gum )..cannot wait to see the next part of his evolution..I think he is primed to make a good step ahead not only from bball standpoint but also when it comes to leadership..just stay healthy son..
In some post moves Kawhi's the most closest thing I've seen to Jordan in the last years. Hope we can watch him posting more and knocking down jumps next seson

It's because the big guns: Lebron, Westbrook, Durant, Melo, Chris Paul and others aren't participating in the showcase so these are the subs. That's why some people on twitter were complaining about the "lackluster roster." I was surprised too. Last year almost everyone that went to mini-camp played in the camp but after that Paul George injury I guess some players are hesitant to join the scrimmage. So the ones who are playing tomorrow it will be like an audition for them since those big guns are pretty much locks to make the team.

Why Jimmy Butler, Gordon Hayward, Tobias Harris, Conley, won't play? They aren't "big guns" after all...Maybe some Colangelo-GM's unofficial talk?

I read that Jimmy Butler had to go home for a personal matter. I'm not sure about the others yet.

I think it's fine. Kawhi last year bulked up a bit and as the season went along he slimmed back down. He's not playing full games day in and day out like he will in the regular season.

9:30 CST on ESPN2. Surprisingly, no streams on firstrow...yet.
